Yes. The Fill&Filter portfolio which is sold in India is sold in Germany and 68 other countries across the world.
Fill&Filter products like Marella, Marella XL and MAXTRA+ are manufactured in Germany. BRITA Flow is manufactured in Poland.

All Fill&Filter products are exclusively available on Amazon and Flipkart.
As long as 'By BRITA' or 'Sold by BRITA India' on Amazon is mentioned, it will be a genuine product. Please note that, no other seller on Amazon is authorized to sell genuine BRITA products in India.
The Fill&Filter range consists of non-electric water filters made out food-grade plastic, hence there is no specific warranty provided. Claims will be handled on a case-to-case basis. In case of manufacturing defect, the product will be replaced with a new one.
The BRITA Marella Water Filter Jugs and the BRITA Flow Water Filter Tank are compatible with MAXTRA+ Filter Cartridges.
1 MAXTRA+ filter Cartridge is already included with each product.
The BRITA MAXTRA+ Filter Cartridge will fit BRITA Marella, Marella XL Jugs and Flow tank.

Water Filtration
Note: Do not filter water which is not adequate for human consumption before filtering!
This Filter is suitable to be used with water less than 200 TDS.
The following are the suitable water sources: Canned/Bottled water, Boiled water, Gravity Filter, RO, UV and RO+UV purified water.
The answer to this question depends on your use case at home:
Canned water: MAXTRA+ filtration will remove any taste or smell impacting substances which might occur due to long storage in a plastic canister and by this give you directly filtered fresh water.
Boiled water: Super-fine mesh and powerful Ion exchange pearls block lime scale build up and soften the water, helping you protect your appliances. Metals like lead and copper are reduced, which may enter your water due to old pipes. Active Micro Carbon Pearls made from coconut shells lock away chlorine, other smell impairing substances and invisible impurities.
Gravity filter: Depending on the model used, MAXTRA+ filtration can additionally reduce chlorine, lime scale and metals like lead & copper which are normally not removed by Gravity based filters.
RO: Freshen-up your water with MAXTRA+, when it was stored for some hours in the tank. Your water is freshly filtered, direct & visible filtration in front of your eyes.
UV: Super-fine mesh and powerful Ion exchange pearls block lime scale build up and soften the water, helping you protect your appliances. Metals like lead and copper are reduced, which may enter your water due to old pipes. Active Micro Carbon Pearls made from coconut shells lock away chlorine, other smell impairing substances and invisible impurities.
RO+UV: Freshen-up your water with MAXTRA+, when it was stored for some hours in the tank. Your water is freshly filtered, direct & visible filtration in front of your eyes.
BRITA Water Filter Jugs are designed for use only with properly treated water, which is safe to drink according to the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) drinking water quality standards, and any other statutory required standards at the time in force, and free from microbiological impurities, such as bacteria, viruses and cysts.
Do not Filter Water which is not adequate for human consumption before filtering through BRITA products!

BRITA MicroFlow Technology: Super-fine mesh and powerful Ion exchange pearls block lime scale build up and soften the water, helping you protect your appliances. Metals like lead and copper are reduced, which may enter your water due to old pipes. Active Micro Carbon Pearls made from coconut shells lock away chlorine, other smell impairing substances and invisible impurities.
MAXTRA+ filtration reduces specifically the part of the TDS that causes lime scale, and by this improves not only the taste and appearance of your drinks and food, but also protects your appliances when you use the filtered water in your kettle or coffee machine. As the TDS of the filtered water depends on the TDS level of your input water, it is impossible to determine a reduction rate.
The pH-level of the filtered water always depends on the pH-level of your inlet water. The filtration with MATRA+ will not impact the pH-Level of the water noticeably.
The MAXTRA+ filtered water enhances the taste of the drinking water. If you feel a change in the taste of your water after the Filter is replaced, please ensure you have activated the MAXTRA+ water filter correctly: Discard the first two fillings with which you have flushed the filter or use the water for your plants. With the third filling the MAXTRA+ Water Filter Jug is ready for use.
The Filter needs to be changed every 4 weeks. The BRITA Memo which is situated in the lid of the BRITA Marella/BRITA Marella XL/BRITA Flow, once activated, will count down 4 weeks from when the Cartridge is installed.
It will only take a few minutes, depending on the size of the Jug product you have chosen (e.g. BRITA Marella/BRITA Marella XL/BRITA Flow).
BRITA cartridges include a small amount of silver which prohibits any bacterial growth during and after filtration. As long as your jug system is regularly cleaned and you treat your water as a food grade substance there is no cause for concern. We recommend discarding any water that isn't used within 24 hours as it is classed as food stuff.
Cleaning
No, please remove the Maxtra+ Filter Cartridge and clean the Jug afterwards as per the cleaning instructions in the manual.
The funnel and the BRITA Marella/Marella XL Jug/Flow Tank is dishwasher safe at max. 50 °C.
For best cleaning results, turn the funnel upside down and let water flow through the valve for a few seconds.
If your BRITA Water Filter Jug or BRITA Water Filter Tank has been in contact with food that is likely to cause discoloration (e.g. tomato ketchup, mustard) clean your BRITA Water Filter Jug or BRITA Water Filter Tank. To avoid possible discoloration of your BRITA product, do not include it in a dishwasher containing dirty crockery from such foods.
The lid and the BRITA Memo must not be washed in the dishwasher. Clean lid and Memo by hand.
Please use mild detergents but no abrasive cleaners. For descaling the lid use common household citric acid based descaling fluids.
Marella , Marella XL and Flow
BRITA Marella/Marella XL Jugs and Flow Tank is made out of transparent, food-grade and BPA free plastics. After inserting the MAXTRA+ Filter Cartridge in the Water Filter Jug/Tank you will see that your water is visibly filtered.
The main body of the BRITA Water Filter Jug/Tank is made of high quality, food-grade plastic. This product is tested and confirmed by TUV Rheinland on meeting the requirement of Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) & Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) regulations.

The BRITA Marella/BRITA Marella XL Jugs/ BRITA Flow Water Filter Tank is designed to fit only MAXTRA+ Cartridges.
It is important that you do not Filter Water which is not adequate for human consumption before filtering. Once you have activated the MAXTRA+ Filter Cartridge thoroughly and rinsed through 2-3 lots of water you can start to drink your BRITA filtered water.
You can pour while there is water in the funnel waiting to be filtered. But ensure it is not too full, as unfiltered water might escape from the lid.
BRITA Memo
First the user has to press and hold the start button for a few seconds. Four bars appear on the display, which then flash for four seconds. When the flashing has stopped the user has to release the start button and the four bars remain on the screen. Every week one bar disappears, the remaining bars show how much of the Filter Cartridge’s service life remains.
After four weeks, the BRITA Memo display starts to flash. This indicates that a new Cartridge must be inserted and the display reset.
The timer can be reset by pressing the button on the BRITA Memo for more than 30 seconds.
